More About Maths Made Fun
Ms M Kaur is a highly experienced and well-qualified tutor. She received her degree in Mathematics and Management from Kings College London, has had a successful career in finance, and has previous tutoring experience.
She is also the lucky mother to two brilliant children, both of whom have recently gained entrance to top independent schools at the 11+ and 7+ levels.
How I can help
Maths Tutoring
Ages 4-13
Choose between individual or group lessons, following the national curriculum to the highest standard. Lessons are course-based, reinforcing foundations to build to more complex concepts over time. The aim is to Make Maths Fun by building confidence and understanding, and to then apply the knowledge learnt along with exam techniques to help your child reach their highest potential.
Each course is 8 weeks, with a built-in assessment in the final week leading to a final report highlighting areas for improvement. Emphasis is placed on breaking down and solving worded questions, clarity in working out, checking answers, and managing time in exam scenarios. Preparation for 7+, 11+ and 13+, including mock exams with guided marking, is also available.
Weekends and evenings only during term time. Intensive revision sessions during school holidays.
Prices start at £20 per lesson.
Over Zoom for now but will revert to in-person when feasible.
